The UNACOMA initiative

At the second edition of ExpoGreen, UNACOMA promoted its Technical Innovation awards and Special Mentions assigned to exhibitors who show especially interesting developments for gardening equipment and machines. At ExpoGreen, the prize commission will look for technological innovation designed above all to achieve improved efficiency and quality in the maintenance of green areas. Special attention will also be given to issues of ergonomics, safe working and respect for the environment.

Machines and devices receiving an ExpoGreen Technical Innovation award under the rules of the competition will be exhibited in a special area at the Bologna industrial fair throughout ExpoGreen 2009. ExpoGreen, which is held under the aegis of the Italian Ministry for Forestry, Food and Agricultural Policies, offers a vast range of machinery and equipment from which technicians and professionals, businessmen and the increasingly numerous and keen public of gardening and green maintenance enthusiasts can spot the latest trends.
