ExpoGreen: Visitors Up at Outdoors Fair

This year’s second edition of ExpoGreen ended with an increase in the visitors attending, up by 24% on 2007 to 27,000 thanks to a good mix of business and culture.

An Infectious Kind of Green

The city of Bologna was tinged in green to mark a Green Week and is about to experience a Green Night as Expogreen’s second day at the Bologna fair ground offered conferences and symposia on landscape design, retailing garden equipment and international cat and dog shows.

Multiple Uses: The Flowering of Agriculture

A study of the features and potential of new activities in a rural setting was presented at ExpoGreen, suggesting that farms will be involved increasingly in the high-income speciality of services for the maintenance of parks and gardens.

ExpoGreen 2009: The Science of Green

Italy’s international fair of outdoor activities was inaugurated today and will be open until Sunday evening, offering on the first day demos and high-level technical meetings on green planning and management. Organised with the Foreign Trade Institute, the event has attracted a number of foreign delegations.

Gardening machinery: market falling by 12% in the first semester

The economic crisis is having repercussions on the sector of machinery and equipment for gardening and care of greens as well. A double-digit figure in the red for the second half of 2009 and negative forecasts for the end of the year. Italian market slightly better in comparison with the other Western European countries. Comamoter President Stefano Slanzi looks to three more years before a return to volumes ahead of the crisis when the world market took up some 60 million machines every year, of which 15 million were mowers.

ExpoGreen 2009: the green outing

The second edition of the outdoors opened this morning at the Bologna trade fair. Three days for businesspeople and enthusiasts in pursuit of the green. Green Days in Bologna: holiday of the green in September

The city will turn green with excursions in nature and theme gardens for the ExpoGreen international exhibition. In cooperation with Ascom, BF Servizi and Unacoma Service, the City of Bologna is organizing a Green Week to run from September 7 to 14 with a high point on the night of the 12th to include cultural initiatives, entertainment and shops staying open until midnight.

ExpoGreen: holiday of the green

The international exhibition of the outdoors scheduled for September 11 to 13 in Bologna will be offering equipment and products to a public of businesspeople, professionals and enthusiasts of greenery. The 60,000 square meters of exhibition area will include 11,000 dedicated to practical demonstrations of mowers and pruning equipment. The beauty of the scenographic settings and green environments will be especially entrancing.
